BARWITE CABERNET MERLOT 2014 (DOZEN)

Hand-picked from vines grown at Mansfield, the beautifully ripe Merlot and intensely flavoured Cabernet Sauvignon fruit has produced a stylish wine showing the vibrant colour and characters of blackberry, cassis and blood plums. Maturation in new and seasoned French oak barriques for 10 months contributed spice, vanillin and soft, fine-grained tannins to the richness of the fruit and three years in bottle has integrated all these flavours, forming a tasty example of a supple, great-drinking Cabernet/Merlot. Thiis full- flavoured and complex wine will develop further with careful cellaring for up to 10 years.
